lyrics

A child with a disturbing trend.
Morbid tales were my only friends.

Dreamer, in realms all alone.
Roaming the fields near my ancestral home.

Dark edge of a hill lies a tomb.
Moonlit ruins add to the gloom.

Vault in the hillside discolored & damp.
Storm stricken mansion, divine wrath.

Rusted hinges & chains, hold the stone door ajar. Resisting my efforts, I pry with a bar.

Bewitching odor of death. Recall beyond tenancy of the body I now possess.

Bower my temple, the door my shrine. I began to feel that this tomb was mine.

Searching the attic, I found a key.
And a statuette that looked just like me.
Only light from a candle, I trace as I go.
I stop at a coffin, who's name that I know.
